MIN HUR

Min is a fourth year undergraduate student with a Human Biology and Society major and Spanish minor at UCLA. She joined the Bouhaddou Lab when it was starting off at UCLA and loves the community and relationships that she has here. Previously, she had worked with Yennifer on exploring the M Protein of the SARS-Cov-2 virus, implenting skills such as site directed mutagenesis, minipreps, primer designing, and more. Now she has transitioned to work as the Science Communications Liason for the Bouhaddou Lab, to combine her passion for science and technical research with her drive to increase accessibility to scientific literature and research. In this role, she manages communication platforms, such as our website, in addition to aiding in the simplification of complex scientific papers written by members of our lab into digestible, shorter form writing. Outside of the lab setting, she loves to swim, read at parks with a picnic blanket, take long walks with a cute little coffee or matcha, and exploring new languages and cultures.
